Samah Anwar

An Egyptian actress and director. She studied French at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University. She became known for action roles in Egyptian cinema; among her most famous films are *Halat Talabbus* (Caught in the Act) and *Bint Mushaghiba Jiddan* (A Very Mischievous Girl). She also acted in theater and television; her television credits include *Zi'ab al-Jabal* (Wolves of the Mountain), *Al-Hisab* (The Reckoning), and *Wanees wa Ayyamuhu* (Wanees and His Days), while her stage work includes *Raqisat Qita' 'Aam* (Public Sector Dancer) and *Awlad al-Shawari'* (Street Children). She stepped away from the screen for several years following a car accident but returned to the spotlight in 2002 via the satellite TV program *Tajribati* (My Experience). Subsequently, she appeared in several series, including *Azhar*, *Wanees wa Ayyamuhu*, and *Nazariyat al-Jowafa* (The Guava Theory).

ممثلة ومخرجة مصرية. درست اللغة الفرنسية بكلية الآداب في جامعة القاهرة. اشتهرت بأدوار الحركة في السينما المصرية، ومن أشهر أفلامها (حالة تلبس، بنت مشاغبة جدًا). مثلت على المسرح والتلفزيون، ومن أعمالها التلفزيونية (ذئاب الجبل، الحساب، ونيس وأيامه)، ومن أعمالها المسرحية (راقصة قطاع عام، أولاد الشوارع). ابتعدت عن الشاشة لعدة سنوات بسبب حادث سيارة، ثم عادت للأضواء من خلال برنامج (تجربتي) في محطة فضائية عام 2002، وشاركت بعدها في عدة مسلسلات منها (أزهار، ونيس وأيامه، نظرية الجوافة).
