Nabil ElHegrassy

Born in Alexandria, he held a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts. Early in his life, he married the artist Esaad Younis—who was a broadcaster at the time—before they eventually separated. He worked in theater—appearing in productions such as *Asl wa Soura*, *Ana wa Merati wa Zawjaha*, *Al-Sa’louka*, *Al-Tartour*, and *Maqalib Mahrous*—as well as in film and television (notably *Al-Ab Al-Masri*). He was a comedic actor best known for playing the protagonist's friend. While he achieved greater prominence in theater than in cinema, his performances were often formulaic; despite his natural wit and charm, he frequently repeated himself.

ولد في الإسكندرية، حصل على بكالوريوس الفنون التطبيقية. تزوج فى بداية حياته من الفنانة إسعاد يونس حين كانت مذيعة ثم انفصلا. عمل فى المسرح في :"أصل وصورة" و"انا ومراتي وجوزها" و"الصعلوكة" و"الطرطور" و"مقالب محروس" والسينما والتليفزيون في :"الأب المصري" كممثل كوميدي عرف بأدواره الكوميدية وخاصة دور صديق البطل. لمع في المسرح أكثر من السينما. اتسم بنمطية الأداء وكرر نفسه كتيرا رغم خفة ظله.
