Ariel Barros

Ariel Barros is a Brazilian film director. He graduated in Film and Audiovisual Studies from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) and also studied Advertising Direction at ESPM. In 2026, he wrote and directed his first short film, “Óleo”, selected for the Short Film Corner at the Festival de Cannes and a finalist at the ABC Awards in the Student Cinematography category.

Ariel Barros é um diretor de cinema brasileiro, natural de Sergipe. É formado em Cinema e Audiovisual pela Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS) e também possui formação em Direção para Publicidade pela ESPM. Em 2026, escreveu e dirigiu seu primeiro curta-metragem, “Óleo”, selecionado para o Short Film Corner do Festival de Cannes e finalista do Prêmio ABC, na categoria de Cinematografia Estudantil.
